Here’s something many of you may not know: Rollins College, Florida’s Oldest Institution of Higher Education was incorporated, organized and named in Sanford in 1885. The marker on the picture was apparently placed on First Street in 1935! And all the times I have walked up and down First Street I have overlooked it? Well, now I am finally aware of it
